A 52% plunge in Pinoy nurses seeking US jobs

A member of Congress reported recently that there is a 52 percent decrease in the first quarter of this year among the number of Filipino Nursing graduates aspiring to practice their profession in America., after nose-diving by 37 percent in the whole of 2010.

Rep. Arnel Ty of the party-list group LPG/MA said that as compared to 3,024 who took the NCLEX for the first time from January to March last year, only 1,454 Filipino Nursing graduates took during the same period this year.
